CookNet is a subscription-based food content platform built for chefs, creators, and everyday food lovers. Verified creators can publish premium recipes, videos, and even offer downloadable cookbooks. Fans can subscribe to access exclusive content, chat with chefs, and support their favorites through tips or one-time payments.

🔸 How do I become a creator?

To start posting and earning on CookNet:

1.   Sign up for an account.

2.   Complete your profile.

3.   Upload your Photo ID to get verified.

4.   Once approved, you can start posting recipes, setting subscription tiers, and earning money!

Creators can share content in photo, text, or video format — with a pre-built recipe post template to make it easy and professional.

🔸 How do subscriptions work?

Fans can subscribe to their favorite chefs on a monthly basis or pay to unlock exclusive content on a one-time basis. You can:

  • Subscribe using your credit/debit card (via Stripe).
  • Cancel subscriptions at any time directly from your account dashboard.
  • Access premium recipes, message chefs, and vote on upcoming content.

🔸 Can I tip a chef or unlock individual recipes?

Yes! Fans can:

  • Send tips as a thank you or encouragement.
  • Pay one-time fees to unlock individual exclusive recipes (without subscribing).
  • Purchase downloadable digital cookbooks from chefs.

🔸 How are payouts handled?

Creators can request payouts once they’ve earned income. Payouts are processed via:

  • Stripe Connect (recommended)
  • Bank Transfer (for countries where Stripe is unavailable)
  • Payout requests require ID verification for security and compliance.

🔸 What are the platform fees?

CookNet keeps a small fee from each transaction to maintain and grow the platform. Currently:

  • Creators receive up to 80% of earnings.
  • The remaining goes toward infrastructure, support, and promotion.

🔸 Can I report users or content?

Absolutely. To report a user or post:

  • Click the three-dot icon on the user’s profile or post.
  • Select “Report.”
  • Our moderation team will review and take necessary action.

You can also block users from viewing your profile or sending messages.
